Ajamila

He was the one who chanted the name of his son Narayana at the time of his death and was saved by the Vishnu Dutas. His story comes in 6th canto of Srimad Bhagvatam.

Aguna

The Lord is described as Aguna which means He does not have any material quality such as the modes of goodness, passion or ignorance, as the conditioned souls have.

Agnivesha

A Rsi who underwent severe austerities on Mount Mahendra. He was expert in the use of weapons, and both Drona and Drupada studied under him.

Agnipurana

The Agni Purana is a Mahapurana. It usually figures eighth in the list of eighteen. There are about fifteen and a half thousand shlokas in the Agni Purana. It is narrated by Lord Agni(i.e. the fire God).

Agnihotra

Prsni, the wife of Aditi’s fifth son named Savita, had three daughters and very exalted sons. One of these sons was named Agnihotra.
Agnihotra is aslo the first and the simplest Vedic fire sacrifice, to be performed daily at sunrise and sunset by initiated brahmanas.
